Project Name

SafeCampus (Workplace Edition) Session on Sexual Harassment Prevention and Response

At ICDS, Dehradun

This SafeWorkplace session was conducted with 35+ ICDS personnel, focusing on strengthening understanding of workplace safety, dignity, and POSH compliance in field-based and government work environments.

The training was designed to address the real contexts in which ICDS staff operate, including field visits, community interactions, internal meetings, and digital communication platforms.

Participants were guided through:

  • Understanding sexual harassment in workplace and field settings
  • Identifying power dynamics using the POWER framework
  • Differentiating real vs. perceived harassment and addressing common myths
  • Navigating complaint mechanisms, including Internal Committee and Local Committee processes
  • Applying the 4D bystander intervention approach

The session was highly participatory, using real-world scenarios and discussions to ensure concepts were clearly understood and applied.
